In the American West of the 1850’s, Rey grows up believing that right is rewarded and wrong is punished. 

When their pa is killed in a brawl, Rey learns that life doesn’t always work out that way. Sometimes evil wins the day.

Rey gets on with re-building his life after the family split up and then goes to find the brothers who've run away from their foster homes. He reckons he ought to find his kin. They are his blood brothers.

When Rey finally catches up with them they’re behind bars in a town jail, awaiting the hangman's noose.

Rey has to decide which side he’s on.
